While many events sell out long before the festivities begin in February, the good news is that with over 300 scheduled events, there are always tickets available to something, you just have to know where to look.
Everything starts with a preview.
All good weekends kick off with a good party. Stop by the Palm Springs Modernism Show & Sale Preview Party on Friday, February 17 to browse the beautiful period art, accessories and vintage pieces showcased by hundreds of vendors from around the nation. The show opens on Saturday to the public so this is your chance to shop early.
Catch a lecture or a film.
Whether your interest lies in architectural preservation, desert landscaping, or renovation and restoration of your own midcentury home, there is something for every design fan at Modernism Week. Check the full schedule of lectures and presentations here to see what is still available.

Admire the vintage wheels.
They definitely don’t make them like they used to. Stop by the Convention Center to catch the annual vintage car show on Monday, February 20, featuring the finest automobiles from the 1930s to the 1960s.
Sit front row at a fashion show.
Swing by the Modernism Week Show House, aka the Christopher Kennedy Compound, to catch the Trina Turk + Mr. Turk Fashion Show on Tuesday, February 21. The most fashionable couple in town present their colorful collections poolside at Kelly Golightly‘s new modern manse.
See four amazing desert modern homes designed by a local starchitect.
For the first time ever, Modernism Week has added a third signature home tour during the midweek. Snag a ticket to the Lance O’Donnell, AIA/Architect Desert Modern Architecture lecture and home tour on Wednesday, February 22. Start at CAMP with a lecture with the architect, then hop on a shuttle to go visit four of this local starchitect’s most notable projects.
Channel Your Inner Audrey.
Put on your prettiest period frock and head over to the Christopher Kennedy Compound, aka Villa Golightly, for Cocktails at Tiffany’s, a tastemakers party hosted by Christopher Kennedy, Kelly GoLightly, and their famous friends on Saturday, February 25.
Work out your thumbs at the Pinball Museum.
For the second year in a row, Modernism Week is taking guests on a trip back in time. Stay up late, play hundreds of vintage machines at the Pinball Museum, and enjoy gourmet hotdogs + craft cocktails by Sailor Jerry. Guests can also take home a special wooden postcard created by SHAG. It’s like going to the arcade with a few hundred of your new best friends. Catch the fever here on Saturday, February 25.
