Of course, she also possesses a healthy love for Palm Springs! When she’s not sharing modernist-inspired discoveries on her vibrant Instagram feed, you can find her doing Palm Springs right with a cocktail in one hand, pool float in another, and a bevy of Aqualilies babes under the desert sun.

"Hello from @charlestonweekender! I’m so thrilled to be part of the 2018 Mod Squad, and to get to tell you what Modernism Week means to me. My goal is to make every day feel more like the weekend. Surrounding yourself with happy colors is one of those things that makes the day feel a little more like Friday, wouldn’t you agree? Getting to see all of the colorful doors and home decor during Modernism Week gives me an energy that lasts for weeks!"

"Well color me happy! Besides Modernism Week giving you so much inspiration for your own home, it gives you opportunities to meet some hugely inspiring folks. Last year I got to chat with @ohjoy, @graymalin, @kellygolightly, and @iamdawnmccoy. @trinaturk was just hanging out, too! It’s such an awesome opportunity to get to meet those talents who inspire you, and I can’t wait to see who will be around this February!"

Bus tours, walking tours, and even a biking tour of all the colorful doors! We all know and love #thatpinkdoor, so just imagine getting to see about 20 equally awesome doors via bicycle during the #PalmSpringsDoorTour. Talk about a Sunday Funday!"

"We visited Wharton Esherick's home in Malvern, PA last month. His hand-built home was inspired by the nature and color of the surrounding landscape. Working with the native landscape feels very modern. In an age of manufactured everything, any thing that is handmade stands the test of time, and is always authentic and feels modern."

"This past spring we took a trip to Mexico City, and visited as many Luis Barragán sites as we could. His use of color blocking, light play and graphic style of his architecture felt refreshing and inspiring. The pink house with the tree was built for a client around that Jacaranda tree. The tree casts shadows on the surrounding walls during the day. To live there is truly living in art."

"Our good friend @modernhaus is in the process of renovating a beautiful architect design and built, mid-century modern home perched up on a hill. The large glass walls makes you feel like you are living in a tree house. The landscaping around the house has been considered to include intimate areas. To us, a strong connection to nature in a home is the most modern way to live."

"Every winter we take a family road trip to Arizona and we stay at still-in-progress @arcosantiarizona, which began construction in the 1970's by Paolo Soleri. The structures still look futuristic, but the ethos behind Soleri's "urban laboratory" is radical in theory, as our present culture has yet to embrace the practice of architecture and ecology as a combined way of living."

The layout, the materials, built in function and the indoor/outdoor living spaces continue to feel so forward. It is fun to imagine that when he built this home, it was a radical design in 'rural' West Hollywood."
